Unit 5: many/much -Inglés sexto Patri

This week we are going to focus on MANY and MUCH. Vamos a echar un vistazo a cómo utilizar cada palabra...

MUCH/MANY

Much: se utiliza cuando estamos hablando de un sustantivo singular. Se usa para cosas que no podemos contar (incontables)
 Example: It doesn't need much milk. 
Many:se utiliza cuando estamos hablando de un sustantivo plural. Se usa para cosas que podemos contar (contables)
Example: There are many students in this class. 

HOW MUCH/ HOW MANY 

Se utilizan para preguntar por entidades..."how much" se usa con cosas incontables y "how many" con cosas contables. 

How much: cuánto

How many: cuántos/as 

Examples: 

 How much money do you have? How much time do we have? How much milk is in the fridge?

How many friends do you have? How many chairs do you need? How many cars are there? 

TOO MUCH / TOO MANY 

Too much: Significa "demasiado". Se utiliza con sustantivos incontables. 

Example: I drink too much coffee. You think too much. 

Too many: Significa "demasiados/as". Se utiliza con sustantivos contables. 

Example: There are too many museums. I buy too many books. 

TAREA: Copia la teoría en tu cuaderno (los cuadros no hace falta) y diviértete practicando con los juegos online. Escríbeme un correo con una foto de la teoría y me dices si te han salido bien los juegos.
